Content wise, I found this over-produced and a bit of a snoozer (think early 70’s strings, flutes, etc.). I’m not sure I’ll be queuing this one up many times, but I did enjoy the experience of listening to it. One track that I really liked was “Born to Be Blue” and another one that caught my attention was “Long and Winding Road.” The Spanish tracks were pretty cool, but I hard a hard time relating to the bossa theme listening to Jane, it didn’t compute for me. Most of the other tracks were lullabye or soft love songs. She seems to be in a good place in her life now and the music is all about love. […]
