Esperanza, Lin-Manuel and al celebrate poetry at the White House (2009)

May 12, 2009 – The Obamas have gathered various artists to celebrate poetry : Mayda del Valle, James Earl Jones, Michael Chabon, Ayelet Waldman, Esperanza Spalding, Jamaica Osorio, Joshua Bennett and Lin-Manuel Miranda who will present a text about Alexander Hamilton, he presently works on, at the White House Evening of Poetry, Music, and the Spoken Word
