It’s pretty fun if you listen with an open mind though. The real gem of this albumand one of the highlight’s of Mingus’ catalogue is the opener, ‘Haitian Fighting Song’, a dark, spookyand often noisy masterpiece. The middle two tracks are classics as well. […]
